Finally! An answer to the infamous question - "What is Semen made of?"

The Ingredients of Semen:

A man's body is constantly producing sperm and semen for the "right time." Semen is mostly comprised of water, sugars, proteins, and other components; such as minerals, micronutrients, and vitamins. Where And How Is Semen Produced In The Body?

Did you know that semen, in general, is not entirely produced entirely within the testes? That's right! Seminal fluid itself is produced within a number of different places.

The seminal vesicles produce a thick white secretion that is rich in sugars; which act as a fuel for the sperm to reach an egg. This is ultimately the "visual" bulk of the semen by volume.

The testes are only dedicated towards the common goal of producing millions of sperm cells, as well as a few other things. Once the sperm cells are produced, they are moved into the ampulla, where they are stored until ejaculation.

Additionally, the prostate gland also contributes towards the seminal fluid. This small donut-shaped organ secretes an alkaline solution to combat the acidic that are found within the urethra which helps the sperm cells in their new foreign environment. This ultimately accounts for roughly 1/3 of the volume.
